Course Overview:
The ITSSAR-accredited Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) and Order Picker Training courses delivered by SID Training is provided on-site at your premises, giving your team the opportunity to train using your own equipment in a familiar working environment.
Powered pallet trucks are essential in busy warehouse and logistics operations, allowing for the safe and efficient movement of palletised goods. These trucks can be pedestrian-operated, rider-operated, or a combination of both, depending on the workplace.
This course combines both theoretical knowledge and practical training to ensure operators understand safe operating procedures, workplace responsibilities, and how to minimise risks in real working conditions.
Training is tailored to your site, allowing delegates to learn within their actual working environment. This ensures greater relevance, improved safety awareness, and better overall competency.
Operators will also be trained in pre-use inspections, helping to identify faults before operation and reduce the risk of accidents or equipment failure.
Upon successful completion, delegates will receive an ITSSAR-accredited Certificate of Training, recognised across the UK and within the warehousing and logistics industry.
What You Will Learn:
Throughout the course, delegates will develop a strong understanding of:

- Battery care and charging procedures (where applicable)

Assessment & Certification:
All candidates will complete both a theoretical test and a practical skills assessment at the end of the course. Upon successful completion, delegates will receive an ITSSAR-accredited Certificate of Training, recognised across the UK and widely accepted within industry.
